To raise funds for the purpose and benefit of the children of Makabongwe Pre-School
One of the massive benefits of Makabongwe Pre-School is our feeding programme. 190 children are provided with breakfast, a cooked lunch and two snacks every day. A child cannot learn on an empty tummy. We believe that this is one of the most important roles that the school plays in these children’s lives.
Annually: R150,000
We have 22 staff who are both dedicated and passionate. They choose to work at Makabongwe because they believe in the values of the school. Makabongwe would not be the wonderful school it is without these amazing people.
Monthly: R143,000
The children use stationary on a daily basis. Children need to
develop good fine motor skills. These tools are vital to preparing the children for the more formal educational setting.
Annually: R20,000
We pride ourselves on the clean and beautiful facilities we provide for the children. However, it is an ongoing cost to keep the school looking bright and colourful. jungle gyms, classrooms, and the roof need constant upkeep. we are in desperate need for the roof to be fixed so it does not leak when
it rains.
